Are you attending ISPOR Montreal 2025? Are you looking for an excuse to get active? Do you want to raise money for a great cause? Maple is excited to host a 5km fun run fundraiser to support the Johnson family as they navigate life with ALS with 3 small children.

How do I participate?

• Download the Strava app, if you do not already have it.
• Sign up to participate via the link below, and you will be invited to the event’s private running club on Strava.
• There are two ways to participate in the fun run:
  • Asynchronously: Record your 5 km run in Montreal (or virtually!) using the Strava app at any point during the conference, from Tuesday May 13^th to Friday May 16^th.
  • The Maple group run: Meet us outside the conference center on Thursday, May 15^th, at 7.15 AM for a guided 5 km group run. 

Can I participate even if I’m not attending ISPOR?

• Yes!  You can join the event asynchronously from any location. Just be sure to follow the steps above to sign up, and record your run on Strava at any point from Tuesday May 13^th to Friday May 16^th. 

Is there a prize?

• Yes! The person running the fastest 5 km time, as recorded by Strava, will receive a grand prize of USD 500.

Is there swag?

• Yes! We will be providing the first 50 entrants with a “Make Way for Chucklings” hat, that can be picked up during the ISPOR conference.

How can I sign up?

• Click here to send your entry fee of USD 30 to the CAJ Trust c/o Roy Benjamin
  • Enter “ISPOR” and your email in the “What’s this for?” box
  • You can register up to the day before race Monday May 12^th
  • First 50 registrants receive hat! 
• You will be emailed an invitation to join the run’s Strava club, which will allow you to log your 5k during ISPOR Montreal (or virtually!) and compete for our fastest time grand prize of USD 500!
