Many people have asked how they can contribute to Chuck and his family.
If you are interested in supporting the Johnson family via a donation, you can contribute to The CAJ Trust*. Your donations will help cover the additional costs associated with living with ALS and various medical expenses. Costs associated with living with ALS include a wheelchair accessible van, ramps, specialized eye-gaze computer, private caregiving and full-time personal care aid support, etc.
Chuck plans on living a long, fulfilling life and his family will incur significant medical and incidental expenses due to this diagnosis. Medical costs alone are estimated to range from $200,000 to $300,000 per year.
*Please note that gifts to the Trust are NOT tax-deductible.
